Housing and Support for Veterans

Valor House is more than transitional housing – it is a full continuum of care for veterans rebuilding after homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges.  Located on the Salt Lake City VA Medical Campus, it is the only program in Utah that houses both male and female veterans, and the only program in Salt Lake County where veterans receive integrated treatment, housing, and recovery support under one roof.

Here, veterans find not just a safe place to stay, but a team walking with them every step of the way: therapists, case managers, peer support specialists, and a VA liaison. With up to two years of care, Valor House helps veterans achieve stability, employment, and permanent housing.

Program Features

Safe, affordable apartments with onsite services for people living with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, or disabilities. Designed for those who cannot sustain housing without ongoing healthcare and support.

This has been such a positive experience here, being here. To help me reestablish my life. And give some normalcy back, instead of worrying, hey, am I going to have a bed to stay in? Am I going to have a roof over my head? Am I going to have food to eat? I have confidence that all will come together because of Valor House.
